KOSCIUSKO COUNTY – At 1:55am on Saturday, June 15, 2024, A Patrol unit with the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office was struck by a red Nissan sedan on State Road 25 near CR W 100 S.

At 2:10am, additional units from the Kosciusko County Sheriff’s Office, Warsaw Police Department, Winona Lake Police Department, and the Indiana State Police had arrived on scene to assist with traffic control.

At 2:45am, a tow truck from Wilson’s Tow & Transport had arrived on scene and began loading the red Nissan. The status of the vehicle’s driver is unknown.

At 3:00am, the southbound lanes of State Road 25 were reopened and law enforcement officers on scene departed.
