Introduction
My name is Christopher Bake, and I’m the creator of Alamo Studios. What started as a simple interest in graphic design during middle school quickly became something much bigger. Over the years, I’ve grown that passion into a business that allows me to do what I love—whether it’s designing graphics, reporting on local news, capturing moments through photography, or creating documents for various clients. Alamo Studios is a reflection of my dedication to storytelling, creativity, and community involvement.
My Origins and Evolution
The foundation for Alamo Studios was laid in 2017 when I discovered my love for graphic design while recovering from Juvenile Nasopharyngeal Angiofibroma (JNA). JNA is a rare, benign tumor that occurs in the nasopharynx, primarily affecting adolescent boys. It was a daily struggle—I’d often spend up to an hour hovering over the sink with relentless nosebleeds, much to the frustration of my school’s janitors, who definitely weren’t my biggest fans, haha.
I was fortunate to receive treatment at Riley Hospital for Children under the care of Dr. Jonathan Ting, the Department Chair of ENT. Throughout my recovery, I found solace in graphic design, which quickly became more than just a distraction—it became my passion. This creative outlet became a driving force, leading me to establish Animosus Incorporated in 2020. Initially, Animosus Inc. focused on commissioning graphic design projects, particularly for video game communities, including those on cfx.re (FiveM) platform.
FiveM is a modification framework for Grand Theft Auto V that allows users to create custom multiplayer servers, complete with unique roleplaying experiences, law enforcement simulations, and other immersive gameplay elements. The FiveM community is vast, with thousands of custom servers, each requiring tailored branding, user documentation, and in-game assets to stand out. Recognizing this need, I dedicated myself to providing high-quality graphic design and structured documentation for these server owners, helping them enhance their gaming environments and create more engaging experiences for their players.
My Time at RTCtv4
In 2020, I also began working for RTCtv4 as part of my Radio and Television class at Tippecanoe Valley High School, under the direction of Nick Kindig from TVHS and Steve Strycker from RTC. Both of them were great inspirations to me and played a significant role in shaping my career. In 2023, I was hired as an Independent Contractor by the company, and in 2024, I was officially brought on as a Junior Producer. In this role, I recorded, live-streamed, and commentated on various community events, including sporting events, graduations, and other significant local happenings. My time at RTCtv4 provided me with invaluable experience in media production, further fueling my passion for journalism and broadcasting. I left the position in May 2024 to fully dedicate myself to Alamo Studios and its growing ventures.
As my expertise and ambitions grew, so did the scope of my business. By 2024, Animosus Inc. transitioned into Alamo Studios, expanding beyond graphics to include journalism, photography, and document creation. This transformation marked the beginning of a new era, establishing Alamo Studios as a multi-service media company.
Expanding into Journalism and Photography
With the launch of a newspaper, I took a bold step into the world of independent journalism. Covering local news in Fulton, Miami, Cass and Kosciusko Counties in Northern Indiana, my publication provides timely and relevant information on emergencies, public events, governmental meetings, and community initiatives. My commitment to truthful, community-centered reporting has made Alamo Studios a trusted source for local news.
In parallel, I introduced professional photography services, capturing everything from personal milestones to corporate events. With a focus on storytelling through visuals, my photography division quickly became a valuable extension of my company’s creative services.
Continuing Services for the Gaming Community
Even as Alamo Studios expanded, my roots in the gaming community remained strong. I continue to provide high-quality graphic design and document creation services for FiveM server owners and other gaming communities. Whether it’s crafting immersive branding elements, designing server logos, or developing structured documents for roleplay environments, I remain dedicated to enhancing the gaming experience through professional design solutions.
